A small group of volunteer committee members runs the Bowning Community Hall for the benefit of our whole community.

With rising insurance and operating costs, the Hall now costs approximately $30 per day / over $10,000 per year to keep the doors open.  We currently only have enough operating funds to cover expenses until the end of December this year.

Over the years, the committee has tried many different fundraising events. Unfortunately, most have been poorly supported and have actually run at a loss.  We have been lucky to receive grants in the past, but those grants are tied to specific maintenance projects on the Hall and cannot be used for daily operating costs.

If we want our beautiful Hall to remain functional, we need your and the community’s help.  If you want to help keep the Hall viable and avoid closing the doors like other businesses in our community, you can support us by:

1. Hiring the Hall for your next function, party or meeting.
2. Becoming a Member of the Hall.
3. Making a Donation directly to the Hall.
4. Supporting our new 100 Club Cash Raffle – (See above poster) This is our major fundraiser to cover yearly operating costs. Tickets can be purchased from AllanFarmFresh or Allan on 0409 909 373.
